I Put Alcohol Under a Microscope — This Is What I Found! I put three of the most popular liquors — Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Tito's Handmade Vodka, and Bacardi Superior — under a microscope to see how their crystal structure compares as they evaporate. Then I introduced live rotifers (microscopic aquatic organisms) to diluted samples of each to observe how they reacted.
